My Story

Lynette Price is the founder of Seaside Secrets and her journey began when she grew up in Cornwall.  She spent most of her days with the family on the beach, in the sea and learning about marine life. The local harbour had real-life pirate ships- her school even had a real pirate ship in the playground! Lynette also had a fascination with fossils from a very young age, collecting and learning about them through her teens.
Her father was head of metalwork and woodwork in a local school and her mother had a flair for crafts and design, giving Lynette a great foundation for making her jewellery.

After completing a zoology degree, getting married (on the beach) and having two children, Lynette embarked on her biggest dream, to design jewellery based on her love for the ocean.  "I have never taken it for granted, living by the sea is one of the most precious experiences that I could have ever wished for and I never plan on leaving it"

Lynette and her family live on the South Devon coastline and collect the sea glass, fossils, beach pottery and driftwood, while beach cleaning.

Lynette now stocks her beach jewellery in three stores across two counties and her jewellery has been sent internationally.  You can see her work in person at the following locations-

All her pieces are made using Eco Silver (Sterling Silver that has been recycled).
